Why did I choose to read this book?

This book caught my eye during one of my many visits to The Last Bookstore in LA a few months before the pandemic changed everything. Until very recently, I didn't care much for amassing physical design inspiration because I've spent so much of my life amassing it digitally. However, during my trips to London and and LA in the past year I began to make more of an effort to engage with design in non-digital ways. Inspiration design books are part of that greater effort, and this book was the first in that category that I've read since I clarified these motivations.
